After beginning studies in biochemistry at the University of Ottawa, Matthew transferred to studying history at the same institution. In 2004 he went to Halifax to finish studies at Dalhousie University and help CCO as a student leader. Finding a call to this work, he now works as the Team Leader at Carleton University.
