For God so loved the world that he gave his only
Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but
have eternal life. For God sent Jesus into the world, not
to condemn the world, but that the world might be
saved through him." John 3:16-17
Jesus alone restores our relationship with God by bridging the gap caused by sin. That
is why he says:
I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me." John 14:6
